It's been fun, but it's time to move on, so this is the last 4Cast from 'mu:kaumedia! We've had great fun, cut our podcasting teeth and met hundreds of you 4Networking types all across the South West - a brilliant excuse to go and talk to people.

In case you didn't notice, the theme of this episode was rain. Lots of it!

We'll see you around - thanks for listening.

One last thing, if you've ever seen Brian Griffin of Selling Services in action in a 4Sight slot, you might like to download the next file after this one. It's a free, 20 minute seminar to help you make those sales. If you enjoy listening to it and find it useful, keep an eye out for the complete set of 11 coming soon pre-loaded on iPod or, alternatively, on AudioCD or mp3 download.

From Sam & Clare - mooowah!

Congratulations to the Burtons on their wedding on the 15th and to Brad for managing to only spend 10 minutes a day in the Barbados cybercafe! In this show, we have 28 4Networkers coming at you from all over the South West. We get to find out some more about the legend that is Jorge from Salgado Investigations and put a voice to another 4Networking institution, Nichola Smith of Admiral Collections.

Thanks to everyone on the growing 4Networking circuit who contributed to the show - the feedback is unanimous: 4Networking is networking "for people who understand what networking is really about". LIke it :-) As an experiment, we recorded the show in the car this time on a Sony Ericsson K880i! It just goes to show that, if you're keen, you can podcast from anywhere with the most bog-standard equipment!

For the techy types, I fixed the poor mp3 quality issue this time by NOT using Audacity to export the mp3 file. Bah! Just as they finally made it a more useful bit of software, they went and messed up the quality of the mp3 export! Well, what did I expect from free software?

Music this time from the usual Swampdweller, B-Sea Surfers as well as a clip from 'Jump the Broom Wedding Song' by Kamal Imani; a great version of Stevie Ray Vaughan's 'Sweet Little Angel' performed by 4Ner Mike Finding's blues band 'Off the Rails' (01202 694654) and to round out, 'Forecast (Wombat Mix)' by Jadox. Thanks, too, to the Podsafe Music Network - oh, and Mike, why not put Off The Rails up there?

And, for a bit of fun since you're here already, have a go at recording some feedback on that cool little testimonial recorder over there on the right. Your PC needs to have a mic (internal or external) to do it but give it a go! We'll include it in the next show. ;-)

It's nearly midsummer's day - so where's the summer, then? In this episode of 4Cast, we find out a few things about EFT - Emotional Freedom Technique. To be honest, I was skeptical - but I'm a lot less so after talking to the 3 practitioners featured in the show. Who knows - I might even try it!

We've been pretty busy with our new 'Mukaumedia Audio Testimonials' so we've not been out on the 4N circuit much in the last couple of weeks. We've also handed over running the Plymouth 4N group to someone else, so we're looking forward to networking on the other side of the table, as it were.

Music, as always from the Podsafe Music Network. This week the shockingly insensitive Osama Bin Laden, You Ruined My Birthday by Pudge; thanks to Swampdweller (as usual) for the Salgado theme toon and of course, Skunks Meet Russians by the B-Sea Surfers.

Thanks, BTW, to Craig Smith (Printed Bag Shop) and Darius Baria for supporting BIBIC with the 'sauce for money' deal. Thanks to Mike Finding for sending CD of your band ;-) And belated thanks to Mick Parry from Positive Futures for the Herbalife samples - which we keep forgetting to take! Don't forget to listen to the full interview with Christina Bustamante on the 4Cast feed.

See you soon!

Well, the Search Engine Optimisation debate goes on...and on...and on. In this episode, we talk to William Nel-Barker to get a few cool truths about SEO and meet loads more 4Networkers - YOU! And we ponder on podcasting - as 4Cast reaches six months old.

Congrats to the legendary Jorge a) for getting not only a confession but also a cheque from the young Refund Fraudster AND for winning the 'OMNI Future Almanac' for calling in to the show (it's THAT simple to win prizes).

In the next episode we look at EFT - emotional freedom technique from the inside.  Would you have a go at it?  Do you even need it?

Reggae Reggae sauce auction, bad spelling, senile relatives and breakfast in Gordano.. Networking the 4N way.

Congratulations and thanks to Darius Baria from Office Doctors Ltd for bidding £40 for the signed bottle of Reggae Reggae Sauce put up for auction by Craig Smith from The Printed Bag Shop Money goes to BIBIC

In the end, spelling wasn't the hot issue it promised to be. Ah well. Here's what we found out anyway: everyone thinks it's vital to spell well in business but somehow, many people still seem to get it wrong. And its usually someone else.

Well, if you're approaching that part of your life when you can't quite remember who you are or where you live, don't worry. If you abscond from your retirement home, Croydon-based Private Investigator Jorge Salgado-Reyes of Salgado Investigations will hunt you down and then sit quietly with you in your car until your relatives arrive to take you back.

Thanks to Elliot and Kim for a nice meeting in Gordano last week.

Music this week: '29 Ways' by 4Networker Mike Finder's blues band. (The band is available for parties and other events. If you're interested, please contact Mike on mike@mikefinding.com)

Also featured: 'Skunk meets Russians' by the B-Sea Surfers, 'crunchtime live sonarchy kexp 2005' by Swampdweller and 'Let Me Know' by The Fire Apes. These tracks courtesy The Podsafe Music Network (see link over there on the right).

Gor Blimey Guvn'r - 29 people and their businesses in one podcast?!

It's bursting at the seams - just like the new 'mu:kaumedia studio - SUTS. (That's 'studio under the stairs' in case you were wondering)

It turned into a two week gap, but hey, that's the way it goes.

This week's show is a great testimonial for 4N. Just listen to the comments of new and veteran 4Networkers and you'll hear what 4Networking has done for them and their businesses. And while you're listening you might want to think how powerful a 'mu:kau audio testimonial could be for your business. (blatant plug)

Bridgwater was great (thanks Stephen C-B for calling me to let me know that 'Bridgewater' is incorrect). 40 4networkers at a single meeting creates an excellent atmosphere, so well done Dawn and Martin and the Exchange (who we forgot to mention in the show!).

We'll probably stick with the two-week format for 4Cast because each show's a day-long production and it also allows us to extend our reach to other 4N Meetings in the South West so that we can feature more of you.

We're also kicking off with a discussion over the next couple of weeks leading up to the next show - this time, the subject at hand is 'Spelling - Who gives a shot anyway?'.

On this weeks' show we heard Stephen Custance-Baker telling us that not a single website that he's worked on has been free of spelling errors. Everyone seems to say they think it matters - and yet, no-one has taken him up on his free offer to proof the first two pages of their site.

So. Does it matter? Does it drive you mad? Does it put you off using someone's products and services? Do you hate people who DO think it matters?

01822 678082 to leave a message. Retro 70s prize for the best voicemail so get ranting!

Coming soon - Craig from The Printed Bag Shop is going to be auctioning his autographed Reggae Reggae Sauce bottle for charity! Bid for it here!

This week, we're unashamedly filling 4Cast with advertising - and everyone who was on it deserved their plugs! Black Bit for coming down from Exeter to Plymouth and installing a VoiP phone for a month's trial - loaded with £20 of their own hard-earned cash! Brad and Jorge for buying 'mu:kau Minutes to advertise their businesses, Nina for phoning in a 'wanted-ad' and everyone else for picking up the phone and calling in.

We didn't manage to get to any breakfast meetings for this show, but we'll be heading up country in the next couple of weeks to meet some more of you and learn about you and your businesses.

This week's music, courtesy Podsafe Music Network , is 'We put the fun back in funeral' by Mercury Radio Theatre and 'Spinout' by Glamour Puss.

Look out next week for more insights from the shadowy world of Private Investigation in next week's episode of the Salgado Files!

That was a week and a half! Actually, it WAS a week and a half - one that saw 4Networking going from strength to strength with new offices in the middle of Taunton plus a new 4N staffer - Abbey - to crack the admin whip!

And good luck to Steve Turner at T3 Magnets - bidding for that million magnet deal!

Welcome to lots of new 4Ners across the country taking advantage of the £50 3 month and £100 2 month 'mini passport' deals.. bargains!

This week's Charity Shop Classic goes to Mark Sugden, bless you sir, for overcoming the techno barrier and getting in touch with the show via Skype. We feel proud to have been a part in this milestone of personal evolution - and look forward to hearing from Mark again - this time with a coherent message! :-)

Featured music this week supplied by 'Fugli' with the 'Reformation Polka' - picked from the amazing and wonderful Podsafe Music Network . We get music for free and they get to reach a wider audience. Deal on. Check out Fugli's other work - very funny.

We're out of here til next week with more news and stuff.

Remember, when someone gives you their business card at speed networking it's one pocket for the duffers and another pocket for the people you like the look of. ;-)

Thank you, Dudley from Concorde Copiers for the line "I've got to sit on the outside because I've spent too many years around Black Powder Cannons". Must remember to try that next time I want an upgrade to Business Class.

Look forward to talking to you next week, and don't forget - TRANSUBSTANTIATION is Fugli's viral gift to you all.

Well, that was the first of the 10 minute weekly 4Cast shows.. Surprised us how many people we packed into those 10 minutes, though! You might have noticed that it was also a bit rough and ready - always is when you try out a new format. A decent stopwatch woulda helped!

It was great to give away something this week - Nina Cole was the lucky recipient of an classic old book - 'Clipping your poodle' for being the very first email into the show!
