Thu, 29 March 2007 This week, we're unashamedly filling 4Cast with advertising - and everyone who was on it deserved their plugs! Black Bit for coming down from Exeter to Plymouth and installing a VoiP phone for a month's trial - loaded with £20 of their own hard-earned cash! Brad and Jorge for buying 'mu:kau Minutes to advertise their businesses, Nina for phoning in a 'wanted-ad' and everyone else for picking up the phone and calling in. We didn't manage to get to any breakfast meetings for this show, but we'll be heading up country in the next couple of weeks to meet some more of you and learn about you and your businesses. This week's music, courtesy Podsafe Music Network , is 'We put the fun back in funeral' by Mercury Radio Theatre and 'Spinout' by Glamour Puss. Look out next week for more insights from the shadowy world of Private Investigation in next week's episode of the Salgado Files! Comments[0] |
Tue, 27 March 2007 That was a week and a half! Actually, it WAS a week and a half - one that saw 4Networking going from strength to strength with new offices in the middle of Taunton plus a new 4N staffer - Abbey - to crack the admin whip! And good luck to Steve Turner at T3 Magnets - bidding for that million magnet deal! Welcome to lots of new 4Ners across the country taking advantage of the £50 3 month and £100 2 month 'mini passport' deals.. bargains! This week's Charity Shop Classic goes to Mark Sugden, bless you sir, for overcoming the techno barrier and getting in touch with the show via Skype. We feel proud to have been a part in this milestone of personal evolution - and look forward to hearing from Mark again - this time with a coherent message! :-) Featured music this week supplied by 'Fugli' with the 'Reformation Polka' - picked from the amazing and wonderful Podsafe Music Network . We get music for free and they get to reach a wider audience. Deal on. Check out Fugli's other work - very funny. We're out of here til next week with more news and stuff. Remember, when someone gives you their business card at speed networking it's one pocket for the duffers and another pocket for the people you like the look of. ;-) Thank you, Dudley from Concorde Copiers for the line "I've got to sit on the outside because I've spent too many years around Black Powder Cannons". Must remember to try that next time I want an upgrade to Business Class. Look forward to talking to you next week, and don't forget - TRANSUBSTANTIATION is Fugli's viral gift to you all. Thu, 15 March 2007 Well, that was the first of the 10 minute weekly 4Cast shows.. Surprised us how many people we packed into those 10 minutes, though! You might have noticed that it was also a bit rough and ready - always is when you try out a new format. A decent stopwatch woulda helped! It was great to give away something this week - Nina Cole was the lucky recipient of an classic old book - 'Clipping your poodle' for being the very first email into the show! We're building up quite a collection of classic 4Cast gifts to give away to lucky listeners, so get those voicemails into our Skype ID - 'call4n4cast', email us at 4cast@4networking.biz or text to 07859 007 060 and you could receive one of our mystery Charity Shop prizes. No joke - this stuff is hand picked for you 4Cast listeners.
